What is a semi-permanent hair dye?

Semi-permanent dyes wash out of the hair after a certain number of washes and are not able to lighten the hair by themselves, unless they are mixed with activators. They are also known as a colour bath.

What is a demipermanent dye?

A demipermanent dye lasts longer than a semi-permanent dye because it incorporates colour precursors (oxidation bases and couplants) at low concentration, oxidants at about 10 volumes and alkalis such as monoethanolamine in its formula, so it lasts longer than semi-permanent dyes.

What are the benefits of semi-permanent / demipermanent dyes?

They provide very intense and bright colours. You get hair with its own light. It contains conditioners that protect and repair the hair fibre and the colour obtained has a higher intensity than that obtained with oxidation dyes.
